For the past five years, The Friends of Petit-Goave have conducted numerous medical missions in that city to care for underprivileged men, women and children. The medical fairs are usually held around Christmas, Easter and during the Notre-Dame holiday timeframe.
Since the first medical fair in 2001, FPG has provided basic medical, dental pediatric and ophthalmic care to close to 12000 women, men and children.
FPG involvement is not limited to the city or Petit-Goave only, our volunteers, doctors and nurses have traveled to surrounding localities like La Digue etc…to provide free medical cares to their inhabitants.
In addition, The Friends of Petit-Goave are also actively involved in molding young minds. With the help of the Marabou club from Germany, FPG has founded and is sponsoring the Decilus Monice Learning Center.
